Austin and the Deadly Scrapyard Crusher | by Stuart Taylor Nov. 25, 2011 | $0.99 | 40408 words | Sample 10% |
| Author bio: I was born in Chatham, Kent, in the beautiful South Eastern corner of the United Kingdom known as the Garden of England. I now live in a city called Rochester, with an old Norman castle and a cathedral and connections with Charles Dickens. Educated at Chatham Technical High School for Boys, I went on to get an Honours Degree in Industrial Chemistry, and a Masters in Computing and Information Systems. I guess I must have inherited passions for art and science. My fiction touches on both aspects and I have enjoyed writing and illustrating my books so far. I love reading and creating stories, especially adventure stories you just can't put down! My first book, Austin was praised by the School Library Association and is available in both paperback and Kindle eBook versions on this website. My second book Austin and the Secret of Karnak House has the same characters as the first book, plus many new ones. It is set between the present day and the Second World War. The thrilling tale deals with spies, secret-codes and Austin's career in the British Secret Service as part of a mysterious Top Secret expedition to find the lost continent of Atlantis and an awesome mystic force, known only to the ancient Atlanteans, that can both heal and destroy. This book is available in both paperback and the eBook version is available from from this website. As you're reading this, I'm creating the third in the Austin Chronicles series, a ripping yarn so secret I can't possibly tell you anymore about it now - well except that it features submarines, terrifying prehistoric monsters that roam a lost prehistoric sea and an ancient civilisation so evil... Sorry, that's it! If I told you anymore, I'd probably have to kill you! :0) If you are interested in finding out more about me, the Austin Chronicles and secret codes and fun quizzes - visit Austin's website at - www.exciting-stories.co.uk Happy reading!
