The fabulous life of the fascinating Francis Fodder (Book 2) | by Campbell (Candle) Feb. 09, 2012 | $0.99 | 16830 words | Sample 40% |
| Author bio: Born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, where I was nurtured by a loving family and 80's cartoon shows. Thanks He-Man! Currently live in somewhere in California... least I think this is California (I am so lost), where I go about my day tracking down the one in print book I've sold. Then I remember I only write e-books and I'm screwed. Present Job: Mustache salesmen (made a killing in the 80's, off of Tom Selleck and Burt Reynolds, now I'm struggling just to make ends meet), which is why I made up Movember. Oh well. What I need from you: To buy a book or mustache, it doesn't really matter which, they'll both make you look silly. P.S. I know I might sound crazy, but I am. |

Rain's Fairy Tale | by A.D. Williams Feb. 07, 2012 | $4.49 | 75149 words | Sample 15% |
| Author bio: Being born and raised in the beautiful though gloomy Pacific Northwest, her writing tends to reflect the mood of one who spent too much time daydreaming out rainy day windowsills. A.D. Williams began writing free verse poetry when I was twelve as an outlet for early onset teenage angst, wrote the first draft her first novel at age 15, but when it was stolen a year later, she lost her taste for writing. In 2005, Williams picked up the pen again and was reminded of the therapeutic value of putting words on paper. After finding the first few poems flowed out fairly smoothly, she set out to create something of a story that had been tugging at her for years. From there the first draft of Rain's Fairy Tale sat collecting dust through years of diaper changes and PB&J lunches. When the youngest of her three "monkeys" started school she decided it was time to get back to writing. A.D.'s writing is done now in the sills and city parks of Lincoln Nebraska, where she can be found daydreaming with pen and notebook in hand. |

Point de chute | by Nicolas Eschrich Feb. 04, 2012 | $1.35 | 91592 words | Sample 30% |

| Author bio: As a kid my imagination was molded by the likes of Enid Blyton and the heroes of Marvel and DC Comics. Fast forward to modern day, and it seems those books and characters had a stronger grip on me than I initially thought. Writing gives me the ability to delve into characters and worlds that would typically be closed off to me in my normal life. An Avid sports fan and music aficionado. I tend to gravitate towards anything that involves creativity. Of late photography seems to have piqued my interest also. |

When All is Lost! | by Suzanne Readsmith Jan. 30, 2012 | Free! | 6636 words | Read a sample |
| Author bio: I write about people, their relationships and the dynamics within. I write books, short stories and TV scripts with a leaning towards drama and black comedy. I have been published and had several scripts considered. I enjoy illustrating the wide range of emotions experienced in life by people of both genders and the permutations of social and personal cultural influences. I like to reach out and to make contact with readers walking beside them and not leaving them before I have evoked within them thought provoking emotions strung between tragedy and joy. I am a person touched by the irony of life and human frailty. Writing is as much a need for me as a want. Many years ago a complete stranger stopped me on the street and she said, “You will always work for a living†which is proving to be true. Today I work hard and don’t play enough. Instead I find myself traversing internalised continents exploring the complexities of life. Sometimes I have experienced life to be hard hitting, startling and scary which is true for so many people. I love my family and enjoy reading, gardening, painting and travelling. |

Six Magic Numbers | by Martyn Tott Jan. 28, 2012 | $0.99 | 71086 words | Sample 50% |
| Author bio: Hello from England. This is a little bit about me, thanks for stopping by! Despite a reprimand by an English Teacher at school for having 'a little too much imagination' I continued to enjoy writing stories. I wrote my first novel length book in the mid-nineties and continued to write half a dozen more that gathered dust until I published one of them in 2009. I simply write what is there and watch the characters grow, it's as long or short as it needs to be to tell that particular tale. The 'themes' to my stories may vary considerably but they tend to all be driven by colourful characters in different scenarios. As Stephen King said: "The object of fiction isn’t grammatical correctness but to make the reader welcome and then tell a story." That sums up my approach really, I hope people like my work of course but never try to target a particular audience or chase a trend. The digital age means that creative artists can get their work out without fitting into neat boxes for huge organisations. Creative work of any kind should in my opinion be judged on it's merits by each individual who engages with it, not by mass promotion or hype. I also try to make a short promo film for each book so feel free to check those out on the book page or at my website! |

Secret Admirer | by Matthew Stephens Jan. 26, 2012 | Free! | 2756 words | Read a sample |
| Author bio: I'm an avid reader and love to write. I am married with two boys and reside in Minnesota. Some of my favorite authors are Stephen King,Dean Koontz, James Patterson, Peter Straub, Suzanne Collins, J.K. Rowling, Thomas Harris, Dan Brown, Cormac McCarthy, and many many more. I'm willing to read any author who has a great idea and is able to express his ideas in a way I can relate(at least with the characters) and understand clearly. I revise constanly and still don't end up satified, but i guess that is something that will come in time, hopefully. I hope you enjoy my stories as much as I enjoy writing them. I am currently working on a novel, but I will try to upload new short stories from time to time, mostly free to read. I believe if I'm going to charge anything it should be at least 4,000 words or more. A lot of the stories I post are old and had been written years ago, but I think they still have good potential (After endless revising and I know they're still not perfect). Thanks for your time. Matt |
