Island Quest | by Marina Oliver Feb. 06, 2012 | $2.99 | 38035 words | Sample 5% |
| Author bio: Most writers can't help themselves! It's a compulsion. Getting published, though, is something really special, and having been so fortunate myself I now try to help aspiring writers by handing on tips it took me years to work out. I've published over 60 titles, including four in the How To Books' Successful Writing Series, and Writing Historical Fiction for Studymates. I have judged short story competitions, been a final judge for the Harry Bowling Prize and was an adviser to the 3rd edition of Twentieth Century Romance and Historical Writers 1994. If you want to find out more about your favourite authors, consult this book. I once wrote an article on writing romantic fiction for the BBC's web page, for Valentine's day. I have given talks and workshops for the Arts Council and at most of the major Writing Conferences, and helped establish the Romantic Novelists' Association's annual conference. I was Chairman of the RNA 1991-3, ran their New Writers' Scheme and edited their newsletter. I am now a Vice-President. As well as writing I have edited books for Transita, featuring women 'of a certain age', and for Choc Lit where gorgeous heros are the norm. I was asked to write A Century of Achievement, a 290 page history of my old school, Queen Mary's High School, Walsall, and commissioned to write a book on Castles and Corvedale to accompany a new circular walk in the area. Most of my Regencies written under the pseudonym Sally James are now published in ebook format as well as many others of my out of print novels which my husband is putting into ebook format. Our daughter Debbie is helping with designing the covers. For details of all my books and my many pseudonyms see my website. |

Destiny Calling | by Fabian Black Feb. 06, 2012 | $6.99 | 68346 words | Sample 20% |
| Author bio: I'm a female writer and I live in the United Kingdom. I’m a staunch supporter of GLBTQ Rights and Marriage Equality. Love is an important aspect of the human experience and its free expression should not be denied to anyone. No one should be made to feel guilty or tormented simply for being in love or for being who they were created to be. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ If you're looking for a complex thriller, hardcore, heavily sexualised erotica, gritty gay realism, typical BDSM leather scenarios, a horror trip or a gory murder mystery then you've come to the wrong place. So, what the heck DO I write? In a nutshell - sweet, sassy, sensual gay discipline fiction ~ stories with a D/s twist More details: I don't write vanilla romance, classic spanking erotica or BDSM. My stories incorporate elements from all those mediums, but essentially belong to a sub group of romance/power exchange fiction often referred to as discipline romance fiction or discipline partnership fiction. Not everyone understands or 'gets' discipline fiction and that's fine. I don't 'get' prawn cocktail flavour crisps, but I uphold the right of people to eat them should their taste buds be wired that way. In discipline fiction the spanking scenes are not there to serve as a precursor to a sex scene. They illustrate the consensual submission of one partner to the authority of the other. It's a form of power exchange. I tend not to write the kind of stories usually associated with the romance genre. The kind where A meets B and they have some adventures/misunderstandings/ but eventually get together. The bulk of my stories tend to involve already established couples. It's just the way I like to write. While sex is certainly an aspect of my fiction it isn't the main focal point, so if you think of and enjoy M/M stories only in terms of heat level and detailed sex scenes then my fic probably won't be to yout taste. I tend to focus more on the emotional side of things and of course the discipline aspect. As well as being the vehicle by which I express my interest in discipline practices, my stories are about everyday relationships, situations, affection and love. They're quirky, warm hearted and sensitive with a liberal sprinkling of offbeat humor. They're entertaining, sometimes thought provoking and always observant of the human condition. I’ve been writing in this genre for over ten years. I have many theories as to why I’m drawn so strongly to this type of fiction. Perhaps it allows me to express aspects of my personality that would otherwise remain repressed. None of it really matters, I write what I like to write and that's it. :) ~I also write a series called 'The Stardust Diaries' under the name Tarn Swan. Find Tarn and Twinkles here on Smashwords or again visit my web page for more information.~ |

Mandy's Milk Makers | by Lord Koga Feb. 06, 2012 | $1.25 | 2939 words | Sample 20% |
| Author bio: Lord Koga is the pen name for a local Grand Rapids, Michigan Author, whom for the last 4 years has been writing in the specific genres of Erotic Fiction, Women’s Fiction, Lesbian Fiction, Romantic Fiction, Horror/sci-fi/fantasy erotica, as well as capture, S & M, BDSM fiction. The pen name “Lord Koga,†has been shortened over the years from its original name Lord Kogarasumaru. The origins of the name Kogarasumaru “Little Crow†is derive from a unique Japanese tachi sword rumored to have been created by legendary Japanese smith Amakuni during 8th century CE. The “little Crow†is considered to be unique as it is a bridge between the old double edge blades of Japan and the more modern version which eventually became known as Katana. Thus, the author that writes under this shortened pen name, desired to use it as a way to describe his writing style as a bit of old school mixed with new techniques. In some ways, considering the Genre in which he writes, it makes some since in the oddity of things, but as this is Veenstra Publishing, we love the oddity of authors, too out there for mainstream publishing to comprehend. Currently Lord Koga has over 68 titles out in e-book format and 4 titles in both print and ebook format. Lord Koga’s printed works include: Knights of Came-a-lot: The Fall of Acheron; Beyond their Control: Erotic Tales of Cheating Wives & the Man the Desired Them All; The Virgin Chronicles: A Beyond their Control Erotic Series; Dare to be Ravished: Beyond Her Control Erotic Series Currently Lord Koga has 15 titles listed on the best sellers list/top rated list in both action/adventure, Teen, and Lesbian subcategories on the All Romance E-book website. |

Hurting Elena | by Harland Sinclair Feb. 06, 2012 | Free! | 4845 words | Read a sample |
| Author bio: By any standards, I have lead an extraordinary life. Not so much through choice, but by sheer coincidence. I always just seem to be in the right place at the wrong time, or vice versa. My friends all say, “You should write a book!†I thought about doing that, but then realized that the only parts anyone would really be interested in would be . . . yeah, the sex and the erotica and the weird. So, I decided to compile a series of stories about some of my sexual exploits. Some were planned, but most were not. I have also tried to keep them in date order, so if you notice any discrepancies, I apologize in advance. These stories are all based on fact. Over the years I have just forgotten some of the minor details such as clothes, eye, hair colours and exact words spoken. But the stories themselves - believe it or not - really are true, however incredible they may seem. Some guys have all the luck. Or not, as the case may be. And there’s been a few of them, I can tell you! A shotgun up the nose really concentrates the mind! I hope you enjoy reading along as I take you through some of the strange things and interesting women I have encountered along the way in my life. At least those I remember. I shall not reveal my true identity in order to protect those who are still living, but if you recognize yourself in any of my stories . . . thanks. Or, as the case may be . . . sorry! Just so you know, I am an average white male, entrepreneur, self-sufficient, college educated and have travelled quite extensively. My ‘accoutrements’ are slightly above average and I have never, ever, cheated on a woman, or been with more than one woman at the same time (other than by request and consent). These stories all took place while I was carefree and single. I have a few favourites, and perhaps over time you would like to share with me which instances you would have liked to have found yourself in, or ones that you particularly enjoyed. Incidentally, these are all heterosexual encounters, though sometimes with more than one woman. Again, often not through choice, but chance. If my spelling and grammar and not up to scratch, skip over it; they’re just stories, not novels or medical books. Some don’t really have a story other than being a description of what actually happened, which is what makes them interesting. So please don’t leave comments such as “there wasn’t much of a story†or there was “no character developmentâ€, etc. Of course there isn’t - they’re just real-life stories intended for you to read when you have nothing better to do. Such as when you’ve been a complete dick and pissed off your woman and are now sleeping on the couch – again! Some are funny, some are sad, and some are just downright weird and have no particular story. I just hope they make for an interesting read. Recipes aren’t exciting, but we enjoy the results. Some will be quite short, perhaps only a page or two, but I’m not trying to get them into the Premium Catalogue – they’ll stay on Smashwords and my website only. I also make no apologies for the language used. If you’re easily offended by coarse, hard-hitting language and descriptions, my stories are probably not for you. I call a spade a spade. If you prefer ‘shovel’, I don’t give a shit. Some women may not like the way I refer to their bodies or the language I use, but that’s just the way it is. Some don’t mind and actually like it, others freak out. If you’re a freaker, close the story and move on. If you don’t mind, read on and kudos to you! Also, I am British (Scottish), so readers other than Brits may be confused by some of my terminology and turn of phrase. I’ll try to keep the language universal, but that’s not always possible as it may kill the gist of the story. If you don’t ‘get it’, don’t worry. Try another one. Or as we Brits would say, “Suck it and see!†(try it) Remember: No one ever lay on their death bed thinking, “I wish I hadn’t fucked so many women.†A word of warning: I am not advocating sexual promiscuity. Sexual diseases are very real. Whatever you do, PRACTISE SAFE SEX! But most of all, the next time you are with a woman, make love to her as if she were the last woman on earth and it’s your last shot. You’ll thank me for it later. And so will she. Give her all you’ve got and she’ll take you to paradise and back – trust me on this one. Been there, done that, keep going back. I have a season ticket . . . |

The Russian Blonde | by Robert Hendry Feb. 06, 2012 | Free! | 50692 words | Read a sample |
| Author bio: Hi there. My name is Robert Hendry, and over the past 30 years, I have 26 published Non-Fiction books in paper form. I recently decided I would like to branch out into the Fiction field, initially with a subject I have studied for a similar length of time, the Soviet Union. During that time I got to know a good deal about Soviet military hardware and operational doctrine, and after the break up of the USSR, it was interesting to actually see at first hand the stuff I had studied at a distance.Seeing a Termit Surface to surface missile fired for real beats any number of photos! The majority o COl War Era novels have a Western hero and Soviet baddies. In the 1980s, as the Brezhnev era ground to a stand, various factions view for power, and my novels have brought in a limited CIA or MI6 involvement, but the main action is between good guys and bad guys in the USSR. The First Novel to be relesed on Smashwords is "To Kill Our WOrthy Comrade", which covers a plot to assassinate the General Secretary at his dacha in the Crimea in 1981. The real 1991 plot took place at the replacement dacha just a few kilometres along the coast. The novel introduces the C-in-C of the Black Sea FLeet, Admiral Petrov who is drawn into the fight to defeat the plotters and a 19 year old girl communications rating, Lidiya. She is one of those girls who just seem to attract trouble, as you will discover in the Lidiya Petrova Series No 2 and No 3. I managed to get No 2, The Admiral's Woman on line, and if you felt that Lidiya had a pretty easy time in No 1, and landed on her feet, you will fidcover that things get a bit more hectic for the lovely Lidiya in "The Admiral's Woman". As you will have gathered I have these two very different publishing careers and I have thoroughly enjoyed both of them. As a historian, I have to rely on available sources, and imagination is not on. As a novelist, it is important to get facts right but after that the more imaginative and original the storyline the better. All the Best RObert H |

| Author bio: J. Daniel Sawyer is a hat-wearing, obsessive-compulsive autodidact attempting to write his way out of the loony bin. A self-aggrandizing science fiction and fantasy author who publishes lurid stories and, worse, the occasional popular philosophy article, he is also a very minor authority on Open Source media production (a topic on which he is, unfortunately, published regularly in LinuxJournal). In addition to his wanton abuse of the printed word, he unscrupulously uses his decade-long experience as an audio and video producer with his painfully florid and gritty writing style to create deeply immersive audio universes. This habit, which he indulges in public, has garnered him seven Parsec nominations and helped him make his first professional fiction and philosophy sales (a trend which, for the good of the world at large, we can only hope abates soon). Meanwhile, his growing, rabid fan-base is currently plotting to imprison him and force him to produce endless new literary abominations for their amusement. We can only hope they succeed. Insatiable Angels | by Frank Zenau Feb. 05, 2012 | $0.99 | 16510 words | Sample 20% |
| Author bio: Currently I’m writing erotic novels for entertainment. While I’m no literary writer I can tell a good story and having been a public speaker on the subject of war and game design has polished that craft. My stories when it comes to sex and variations they may be crude but having knowledge of these activities that I write about I can turn that knowledge into a story. There are many erotic writers out there mostly women (bless them each and everyone) but most of the women I have met and put to bed, don’t speak like some of these writers do and I say get it on and let’s not beat around the bush. You are here for one thing entertainment and if you like to read fifteen pages on what goes through a virgins mind just to kiss a creep, fine, if you want to read a couple of paragraphs of how they get it on, well then you might find my stories right up your alley. Give me fifteen pages and that virgin will take on a football team. Judging from sales my Oukoumene series is doing real well. Its about Walter who meets new friend and he falls in love with Joan, who lost her husband, Joan is hot, but she’s a real slut and she can suck the chrome of a bumper. I don’t know about you, but that’s a kind of woman I like. Smart but not afraid of their sexuality and not afraid to engage in strange sex. My opinion is, try it, you may like it. Thanks and special thanks to all the people that buy my books. Regards, Frank Thanks Frank Xeno Zenau fzenau@oukoumene.com |

The Butcher | by Drac Von Stoller Feb. 05, 2012 | $0.99 | 2547 words | Sample 20% |
| Author bio: Drac Von Stoller's imagination and fascination for the Horror genre began when he was a little boy watching his favorite actors such as Vincent Price, Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee and Bela Lugosi on his little black and white television alone in his dark room. Drac would watch these horror movies for hours and build model kits of his favorite characters like Dracula, the Wolfman, Frankenstein and even the Munster's car from his favorite television series. Then as time went on and nothing was left to the imagination in the new horror movies, Drac still loved watching the old movies he so loved as a little boy. Then as Drac became an adult he decided one day that he would write a short story in the horror genre and let some of his friends read it and see what they thought. Drac's first short story was titled "Death in the Wilderness," which would be considered flash fiction but this would be Drac's test to see if he was destined to be an author. Sure enough when people read "Death in the Wilderness" they loved it but couldn't understand why Drac didn't keep on with the story but Drac knew all along that if what they read was so good then Drac has succeeded. This gave Drac the confidence he needed to keep on writing more and more short stories. The rest is history Drac has now written 31 short stories in the course of a 2 year span. Drac doesn't want to write a story unless it moves him in a way that he would want to read his own work and say any horror or ghost fan would not be disappointed. |
