Author bio: I'm an amateur writer with zero interest in traditional publishing. Nothing against authors who still aim to squeeze a living from this moribund profession. I don't have the time or patience to mess around with that jazz. I write because I'm a fussy reader who struggled to find books worth reading at my local book shops. My shelves became littered with a grim collection of hardcovers and paperbacks I was unable to finish. It reached the point where if I wanted to be entertained by writing, I had to do it myself. My stories may be unusual, but I wouldn't call them literary or experimental. They depict ordinary people in extraordinary situations, free of the usual genre or commercial constraints. I might suggest that if you're looking for more of the same of whatever you've been reading, you'll have better luck looking elsewhere. I am continuing to work on Enhanced eBooks, which includes photos or films or music. Here, "The Underground," is perhaps the best example, but there is some enhancement with photos or art in "Famous Fake Books," "Rock Star Diet," and "Girlfriends Lost." The enhancement makes the books harder to edit for publication through the premium catalogue. The typescript gets variable--big--small--different fonts. The conversion process rips away formatting I guess. I am just a simple literary anarchist, working my way up to I don't know what.
